進行第一層的防護。

坊間有些口罩，為降低成本，其表面層的布料可能使用基重14g ~ 22g的布料不等，
對防護、醫用之效果會打折扣。

2. 親水層 (內層)

其布料的屬性為布面光滑不易起毛絲且具有親水性的不織布，
親水性的特性可將我們配戴口罩呼吸說話時所產生的水氣，
以及臉部的油脂汗水吸附拓暈開來，
不會凝結成水珠狀造成配戴時的不適感。

口罩內層光滑不易起毛絲的特性則是提供長時間配戴口罩時，
口罩的表面不會因為長時間與臉部進行接觸摩擦的動作而產生毛絲，
可避免臉部敏感的人因為毛絲刮臉而產生臉部過敏。
